Global AMP from IE Business School
We live in a time of extraordinary change. Technologies evolve at exponential speed. Markets shift overnight. New generations demand meaning as much as money. The certainties of the past — industries, hierarchies, business models — are dissolving. In their place, a new world is being shaped by those bold enough to reinvent it.
The Global Advanced Management Program (Global AMP) is designed for business leaders ready to rise above disruption, to harness change as fuel for growth, and to imagine and deliver the future. It’s an intensive journey for ambitious executives who want to transform their business, and themselves.
Leading business in a world of incredible change
This is not business as usual. The old playbooks no longer work. Every sector is being redefined — mobility, finance, energy, health, retail, media, education — by a potent mix of shifting expectations, new competitors, and radical technologies. The companies winning today are those with the courage to reimagine everything.
Tesla is not just an automaker but a digital energy ecosystem. Apple has turned a computer brand into a seamless lifestyle platform. Amazon continuously reinvents retail, logistics, and now healthcare. BYD, China’s electric powerhouse, is reshaping global transport. Patagonia builds sustainability into every fibre of its business model.
The Global AMP helps you decode this complexity and see the patterns of progress beneath the turbulence. You’ll explore megatrends such as urbanisation, demographic shifts, climate urgency, and deglobalisation — and learn how to turn them into opportunities for value creation. You’ll dive into the new logics of competition, where platforms replace pipelines, ecosystems replace empires, and purpose replaces pure profit.
This is leadership for an era where the future won’t wait.

Harnessing the power of phenomenal technologies
Technology is no longer an enabler — it’s the environment in which all business now exists. Artificial intelligence, robotics, synthetic biology, quantum computing, and materials science are converging to rewrite the rules of innovation and growth.
The Global AMP takes you beyond the buzzwords to the heart of transformation — understanding how these technologies change what’s possible, and what it means for your industry, your customers, and your organisation.
You’ll examine how DeepMind and OpenAI are redefining intelligence itself. How ASML, the Dutch semiconductor pioneer, enables the chips that power every digital innovation. How SpaceX is making space commercial and reusable. How Moderna applied AI and mRNA technology to revolutionise healthcare. How Shopify and Stripe empower millions of entrepreneurs through invisible infrastructure.
These are not just stories of science — they are blueprints of reinvention. They show how technology, when combined with human imagination, becomes the ultimate competitive advantage.
As part of the programme, you’ll explore what exponential technologies mean for your own business. You’ll learn to think in systems, to anticipate inflection points, and to design strategies that harness disruption before it harnesses you.
Learning from the world’s most amazing companies
The Global AMP is built around learning from the best — companies and leaders who are shaping tomorrow’s economy today. We go inside the cultures and strategies of innovators from every continent, extracting lessons that are directly applicable to your world.
You’ll learn from Netflix, which reinvented itself from DVD mailer to global streaming and now a content and gaming powerhouse. From Nike, which fuses sport and technology to build communities and experiences. From Unilever, which embeds sustainability and purpose into global brands. From DBS Bank in Singapore, the world’s most digitally transformed financial institution. From Atlassian and GitLab, who have redefined what collaborative, remote, high-performance teams can achieve.
You’ll explore how Tesla and BYD are changing energy and transport; how Airbnb and Uber reinvented service models through platforms; how Adidas, On Running, and Hoka are turning performance into emotion and identity.
Each example becomes a lens to examine your own company — not to copy, but to catalyse. You’ll identify the insights that matter: how these businesses sense change early, scale ideas rapidly, and sustain innovation through culture and purpose.
Equipping yourself with the best ideas and tools
Knowledge without application is inertia. That’s why the Global AMP equips you with not just insight, but the most powerful frameworks and tools to turn vision into action.
You’ll master the ideas reshaping global strategy today — from Blue Ocean Strategy and Disruptive Innovation to Jobs to Be Done thinking and Design Thinking. You’ll apply tools like Business Model Canvas, Scenario Planning, and Systems Mapping to design transformation. You’ll explore Purpose-Driven Leadership, Agile Transformation, Platform Ecosystems, and Exponential Organisation models — translating them from theory into impact.
And crucially, you’ll develop your own “Gamechanger Blueprint” — a strategic and personal roadmap for the future. Through interactive sessions, simulations, and coaching, you’ll reimagine your business model, leadership approach, and organisational culture.
These tools are drawn not from academia alone, but from the frontier of business — the practices used by the world’s most innovative companies and entrepreneurial leaders.

Transform your business. Transform yourself.
The Global AMP is not a traditional management course. It’s an immersive, multi-week experience — an exploration, a reflection, a catalyst. You’ll work with global peers from across industries and continents, expanding your perspective and your network. Together, you’ll tackle real-world challenges and design bold solutions.
Each module connects the business agenda and the leadership agenda: how you lead change externally, and how you grow internally. You’ll learn to think across boundaries — integrating strategy, innovation, and sustainability with the human dimensions of empathy, collaboration, and resilience.
The programme is designed and guided by Peter Fisk, a leading educator in leadership, strategy and innovation — and author of Gamechangers, Business Recoded, Future Junkies, and The Reinvention Playbook. Drawing on his experience advising companies from Cartier to Coca-Cola, to Microsoft and Virgin, he helps leaders like you to reimagine growth and relevance in a turbulent world.
You’ll be supported by an extraordinary faculty of futurists, innovators, coaches and real-world leaders who share their own journeys of transformation — from Nestlé’s reinvention of nutrition and health, to Schneider Electric’s pivot to sustainability, to Natura &Co’s mission-driven approach to beauty.
By the end of the journey, you’ll leave with clarity, conviction, and capability — not only to transform your organisation, but to redefine yourself as a leader of the future.
The mindset of a future leader
What does it take to lead in this new world? It takes imagination — to see what others cannot. It takes courage — to act before certainty. It takes empathy — to connect purpose with people. And it takes adaptability — to learn, unlearn, and reinvent yourself continuously.
The Global AMP builds this mindset through experience, reflection, and challenge. You’ll be stretched to see differently, to think systemically, to lead authentically. You’ll learn how to balance innovation with execution, human creativity with technological possibility, short-term delivery with long-term transformation.
As I always say “The future belongs to those who create it — not those who wait for it.”
Step up to create the future
This is your invitation — to lead at a higher level, to think bigger and bolder, to make your mark on a changing world. The Global Advanced Management Program is more than an executive education experience. It’s a platform for transformation — of business, of leadership, of self.
You’ll emerge not just with new knowledge, but a new way of seeing. Not just new strategies, but renewed confidence to act. Not just a network, but a movement of leaders shaping a better future.
If you are ready to reimagine your business, harness the power of technology, learn from the world’s most amazing companies, and equip yourself with the ideas and tools to make it happen — then you are ready for the Global AMP.
Because in the end, the greatest transformation begins with you.

The Global AMP Journey
The Global AMP is a 6 month journey of inspired exploration and learning, online and physically together, with deep dives into real companies (an organic wine business, a sustainable fashion business) and simulating the C-suite challenge of driving transformation, and includes the Gamechanger Project that works through the whole program, applying all the best ideas to your own business, to create a blueprint for you to lead your future.
The program flows from “sense-making” macro-trends, technology, human and market shifts; to “strategyzing” using scenarios, strategic innovation, platform thinking, sustainability; to “innovating” as teams, organisations, corporate ventures, transformation projects; to personal “leadership” transformation, performance and resilience, ensuring you can carry the burden of change for the long run.
Here is an outline of each of the core modules:
Megatrend Mindset … with Peter Fisk
This module sets the foundation: exploring the deep, macro-drivers reshaping industries, societies and markets — demographic change, climate urgency, resource scarcity, shifting consumer behaviours, globalization/regionalization, social fragmentation. Leaders learn to perceive these not as threats, but as signals and opportunities — developing a “future lens” to sense change early. This mindset primes you to question assumptions, re-evaluate business as usual, and open up to radical reinvention.
Technology Futures … with Bernardo Crespo
Building on the megatrend perspective, this module dives into the converging technological forces — from AI and data science to robotics, synthetic biology, quantum computing, materials science and more — that are accelerating disruption. You’ll examine how these technologies are no longer optional enablers but form the very environment in which business now lives. The aim: to shift your thinking from incremental change to exponential possibilities, and to spot how technology can reshape industry boundaries, business models and value creation.
Scenario Planning … with Bjorn Beam
With an understanding of both macro-trends and emerging technologies, this module trains you in looking ahead: imagining multiple plausible futures, mapping alternative trajectories for your industry, and evaluating which paths best align with your purpose and strength. By exploring different scenarios — from optimistic to disruptive — you learn to stay ready, flexible and strategic, choosing the future you want to prepare for.
Applying AI … with Christina Stathopoupou
Having recognized AI (and related technologies) as transformative forces, this module brings focus: how to embed AI practically and strategically across functions — from operations, efficiency, decision-making, to customer-facing innovation and product/service reinvention. It’s about transforming AI from buzzword to business-as-usual lever, enabling speed, agility, insight and new growth.
Digital Humanity … with Veronica Royero
As technology becomes pervasive, this module reflects on the human dimension. What does it mean to remain human — empathetic, creative, ethical — in a digital, automated world? It explores how to fuse human strengths (purpose, empathy, creativity, judgment) with technological power. The result: a leadership and organisational culture that harnesses tech without losing humanity — often a key differentiator in a digital economy.
Leading Futures … with Siegfried Hoenle
With insight into trends, technology, scenarios and human-tech balance, this module turns to leadership: how to lead in a fast-changing world. It addresses the tension between delivery and change, short-term performance and long-term transformation, possibilities and practicalities. You learn leadership strategies to balance both, orchestrate transformation while preserving core stability, and lead with vision, clarity and resilience.
Execs and Boards … with Roy Rogers
Scaling from individual leadership to organisational governance, this module focuses on how executives and board directors must collaborate — aligning strategic vision, transformation ambitions, accountability and governance. It covers the different roles and responsibilities, and how to ensure that leadership, oversight and long-term direction are aligned — a critical step for institutionalising change.
Leading Authentically … with Juan Carlos Pastor
This module emphasises personal authenticity: how to develop and bring forward your own leadership style — one that aligns with your values, strengths, and the demands of context. Rather than copying generic “leadership tropes,” you learn when to be bold, when to listen, when to push — and how to lead in a way that is true to you, credible, trusted and effective.
Customer Psychology … with Jaime Veiga
Understanding customers becomes central. This module dives into how customer mindsets, behaviours and motivations are shifting — shaped by cultural, demographic, technological and societal change. Using deep insight and behavioural/neuroscience perspectives, you learn to anticipate what customers want now and tomorrow — enabling more relevant, empathetic, and future-proof proposition design.
Strategic Innovation … with Tendayi Viki
With insights into customers, trends and technology — and a leadership mindset — this module focuses on how to drive innovation across the organisation. It explores how to reinvent customer propositions, business models and value chains to meet future demand. You learn frameworks to ideate, test and scale new offerings, ensuring the business remains adaptive, creative and competitive.
Next Tech Platforms … with Ricardo Perez
This builds on innovation and technology — exploring how to go beyond standalone products or services, to build platform-based models and ecosystems. You’ll examine how to create new digital networks, platforms and marketplaces that leverage connectivity, scalability and network effects — unlocking new growth, collaboration and value creation pathways.
Sustainable Futures … with Gillian Wilson
Here, the focus shifts to purpose, impact and long-term resilience. You explore how social, environmental and climate challenges are not just risks — but opportunities for innovation, differentiation and value creation. The module encourages aligning business strategies with sustainability, embedding it in purpose, operations, culture and growth models.
Corporate Start-Ups … with Tendayi Viki
Combining the earlier modules’ insights and tools, this module encourages building an entrepreneurial mindset within an existing corporate context. It explores how to launch internal ventures, incubators or innovation labs — how to run many of the dynamics of a start-up (agility, experimentation, bold bets) while leveraging the resources, scale and legacy of a corporation.
Leading Teams … with Laura Maguire
Recognising that transformation needs collective energy, this module helps you build and lead teams that combine psychological safety with performance stretch. It’s about cultivating a culture where people feel empowered to challenge, innovate, learn — while achieving high performance. That’s critical for sustaining change over time.
Strategy Accelerator … with Peter Fisk
This module focuses on a new approach to strategy: one that is ambitious, adaptive and responsive to rapid change. Instead of rigid, long-term plans, you learn how to create a nimble strategic posture — balancing bold direction with flexibility, enabling your organisation to pivot, experiment and evolve as conditions shift.
Business Transformation … with Christian Rangen
Here, the program simulates a full transformation journey — integrating all prior learning. You work through what it means to transform a business end-to-end: redefining purpose, rethinking business models, mobilising teams, implementing change, and realising impact. This 10 years in 3 days module tests your ability to lead at scale, across functions, over time.
Leading Narratives … with Javier Bernad
Transformation needs storytelling. This module teaches how to craft and share compelling business narratives — internally and externally — to engage people (employees, boards, stakeholders) around vision, values and change. You learn how to communicate not just logic, but meaning — to build commitment, alignment and momentum.
Leading Positively … with Siegfried Hoenle
Sustained leadership in turbulent times demands optimism, resilience, and people-centered energy. This module helps you develop a positive mindset, to lead with hope and purpose — taking people with you, inspiring them, and cultivating energy, engagement and momentum across the organisation.
Entrepreneurial Mindset … with Uri Levine
Returning to the roots of innovation and agility, this module reinforces the spirit of entrepreneurship — with first-hand insights from the founder of Waze – with lessons applicable to both large and small companies. You learn how to think like an entrepreneur: with creativity, risk-tolerance, adaptability, speed, and relentless curiosity — making bold moves while managing risk intelligently.
Leadership Vitality … with Lisa Bevill
To lead through long, uncertain transformations, personal resilience, stamina and well-being are essential. This module focuses on leadership “fitness”: mental, emotional and physical habits; energy management; stress, wellbeing and sustainable routines — ensuring you can lead not just strategy, but yourself over time.
Future Ready … with Peter Fisk
The final module — a capstone of sorts — brings everything together. By now, you have the mindset, insights, tools, leadership style, personal resilience, and network. This module assesses: are you ready — to create the future, challenge yourself and your business, and step up to lead the transformation you envision? It’s about clarity, conviction, readiness to act.
